ResponsibilitiesOwn the end-to-end design and delivery of power systems across Fuse’s renewable energy, data center and connections work from LV to EHVDevelop detailed electrical design packages, including single line diagrams (SLDs), protection and control schemes, equipment layouts, cable schedules and earthing/bonding designsPerform power system studies, covering load flow, fault level, protection coordination, harmonic and dynamic stability analysisLead grid connection applications and compliance submissions and ensure compliance with all relevant UK Grid Code and G99 requirementsReview OEM, EPC and vendor documentation for technical compliance, grid integration capability and interface consistencyDevelop and maintain internal design standards, study templates and calculation tools to ensure technical consistency and efficiency across projectsRequirementsYou hold a degree in Electrical or Power EngineeringYou bring at least 3 years’ experience in HV power system design for substations, grid connections or renewable projectsYou have a strong understanding of HV/LV systems, grid code compliance and UK connection standards.
