Job Title: Resident Liaison Officer Location: Cambridge Pay Rate: £20 per hour Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent (7-month initial contract, with potential for a permanent position after successful probation) About the Role We are seeking an experienced and personable Resident Liaison Officer to join a friendly and professional team on a live construction site in Cambridge. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with residents, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project delivery and excellent communication throughout the duration of planned works. The successful candidate will act as the main point of contact between residents and the site team, overseeing day-to-day engagement and ensuring that work is carried out with minimal disruption and maximum satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Serve as the first point of contact for residents, addressing queries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally. Support the delivery of planned works, including painting, structural repairs, concrete repairs, and movement joint works. Coordinate access to properties, schedule appointments, and ensure residents are fully informed of works taking place. Maintain accurate records of communications, appointments, and resident feedback. Liaise closely with site managers, contractors, and the wider project team to ensure smooth operations. Attend and occasionally lead face-to-face meetings with clients and residents to provide updates and resolve issues. Promote a positive image of the company and project through excellent customer service and communication. Skills & Experience Required Previous experience in a Resident Liaison Officer, Tenant Liaison Officer. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly. Well-organised, with good attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Confident handling sensitive situations and resolving complaints calmly and professionally. Basic IT proficiency (Microsoft Office, email, databases).
