Assistant Management Accountant Thetford (office based)£28k - £32kWe're delighted to be working exclusively with a well-established and growing business in Thetford, who are looking to appoint an Assistant Management Accountant to join their friendly and collaborative finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and detail-oriented finance professional looking to develop their skills within a supportive environment. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day financial operations and assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts.Key Responsibilities Manage daily banking and reconciliationsProcess customer sales invoices and maintain accurate ledgersOversee the invoice discounting process and customer receiptsSupport the Financial Controller with month-end and year-end processes, including journals, accruals, and prepaymentsAssist in preparing monthly management accounts and variance analysisSupport payroll and pension submissionsLiaise with external auditors during the annual audit processContribute to the implementation of new financial systems and process improvements About You AAT qualified or currently studying towards ACCA (or equivalent)Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skillsProficient in Excel and accounting softwareExcellent communication skills and a confident team playerAble to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines This is a great opportunity to join a progressive company that values its people and is continuing to grow.
