SEN 1-1 Teaching Assistant Location – West End, SouthamptonContract - Part TimeStart date – January 2026Join our team of caring and dedicated professionals providing one-to-one support for pupils with Special Educational Needs in welcoming and inclusive primary schools throughout West End.What we’re looking for: Experience supporting children with SEN, such as Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language needs, or social, emotional, and mental health challenges.A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach to working with children.Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with pupils and staff.Strong communication skills and a proactive, flexible attitude.A genuine passion for inclusion and pupil development.Previous school-based experience or relevant qualifications (desirable but not essential). About the role: Provide 1:1 classroom and pastoral support for a pupil with specific learning or emotional needs.Adapt learning materials and strategies to meet individual targets.Collaborate closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement and review support plans.Encourage confidence, independence, and positive behaviour.Foster a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
