Respecting older people and recognizing each resident as a unique individual, our nurses provide not just high-quality nursing skills, but truly person-centred care.Due to the location, it is desirable to be a driver and have own transportationJob Types: Permanent, Full-time, hours: 33- 44 per weekSalary: £13.20-£13.44 per hour depending on experience.Please NOTE we are not able to provide sponsorship, we do need only care assistants able to work full-timeBenefits of joining our teamFull time roles available28 days annual leave (inclusive of statuary bank holidaysStaff recognition schemesRefer a Friend bonusEmployee Assistance ProgrammeComprehensive Training and Career DevelopmentAccess to ongoing training for continued professional developmentA friendly and supportive working environmentResponsibilities include:Ensure the highest possible levels of care are maintained by supporting and assisting Residents when required with all aspects of daily livingAssist Residents in all aspects of their care needs, e.g. physical, emotional and spiritualProvide supervision and attention when needed, ensuring Residents retain their comfort and dignityObserve care planning needs for Residents and completed daily records as instructedAssist in framework of social activities by interacting with Residents and helping them continue with hobbies and activities in the Care CentreAnswer Nurse Call system, giving assistance as requiredAnswer the door and telephone appropriatelyRespond accordingly, and pass on messages promptlyReport on well-being of ResidentsClean and maintain equipment used by Residents and Relatives e.g. wheelchairs, hearing aids, spectacles etcRequirements for the roleAbility to communicate effectively at all levelsPrevious experience of working with the relevant Service User group as Senior Healthcare assistant for at lease 6 monthsNVQ3 in Health and Social Care and medication training for a Senior role is mandatory o have itTeam playerDriving license and own car is desirable Ability to work on own initiativePrevious experience of working with the relevant Service User group as Senior Healthcare assistant To have the right to work in the UK and don't need sponsorship Live in the area and able to commute easily QualificationsPrevious experience in CARE as a Senior Healthcare assistant is mandatoryAbility to drive is advantageousBasic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposesStrong leadership skills to supervise and guide care activitiesUnderstanding of care plans and their implementationPassion for providing quality care in a residential settingManual handlingCare Certificate is desirableWe offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for career growth and development.If you are interested in our offer and live in the area please apply below with your CV and one of our consultants will be in touch.
