Position: English TeacherLocation: SalisburyStart Date: ASAPContract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term (until December 2025, with potential extension to July 2026)Pay Range: £165 – £250 per dayWorking Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a English Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Salisbury. This full-time position is available to start immediately and will run until December 2025, with the possibility of continuing through to July 2026.You’ll be teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4 within a supportive and collaborative department that values creativity, teamwork, and high-quality teaching. The role would suit a passionate teacher who enjoys inspiring young people and helping them to develop a love for language and literature. What You’ll Be Doing Teaching English to students across KS3 and KS4 Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons that challenge and motivate learners Assessing and tracking student progress to ensure strong outcomes Working collaboratively with a dedicated English department to share ideas and resources Contributing to the wider life of the school, including enrichment and extracurricular opportunities About the School The school is a well-regarded secondary in Salisbury with approximately 650 students on roll. Rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, it is recognised for its strong sense of community, supportive leadership, and inclusive ethos.
