Make a Real Impact as a SEND or SEMH Tutor.Are you a passionate educator, making a difference in the lives of students with SEND or SEHM needs? We are looking for experienced and dedicated tutors to join our tutor database. You’ll provide personalised, 1:1 or small group support to Key Stage 2 students. These in-person sessions in Wood Green offer the chance to work closely with students, helping them build skills and confidence in a supportive and tailored learning environment.This job is in person in the Wood Green areaDay(s): Monday - FridayTime(s): During school hours Level: Key Stage 2Start date: Throughout the academic yearWhat You'll Do:Deliver up to 15 hours of tutoring per week, with sessions split across the school day.Plan engaging lessons tailored to the unique needs of each student.Provide targeted support for students with SEN and/or SEMH.Assess barriers to learning and create a positive and supportive learning environmentMonitor progress, produce reports and adapt teaching strategies to achieve measurable outcomes.RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you should have:A Bachelor's degreeQualified Teacher Status is preferredExperience or training working with students with EBSAExperience working with students with ASCExperience working with students with SEMH needs1+ years of tutoring / teaching experienceAbility to work with students of all abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsRight to be self employed in the UKBenefitsWhat We Offer:A friendly, dynamic team that values collaboration and personal growth.The opportunity to make a difference in the lives of studentsCompetitive hourly rate: £30 - £35 per hour depending on experience.About Tutors GreenOur mission is to provide first-class tuition, primarily for disadvantaged students, through discounted and pro-bono services across the UK.
