HGV CLASS 2 DRIVERPeople Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Warrington, Cheshire. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.Shifts:Working five days out of seven (including some weekend working) • AM: 01:00 – 04:00 start times • PM: 14:00 – 18:00 start timesRates of Pay: • £16.63 per hour (standard 48 hours) • £24.33 per hour (overtime after 48 hours) • Minimum of twelve hours paid per shift and all breaks fully paidBenefits:Your benefits as a Class 2 Driver will be: • Ongoing position with a leading company in the industry • Thorough first-day assessment and two weeks of training alongside experienced staff • Competitive rates of payDay-to-Day Duties:Your daily duties as a Class 2 Driver will be: • Working rotating shifts • Driving Category C vehicles safely and efficiently • Completing 6–7 product deliveries to various stores across the UK daily • Ensuring all loads are maintained at the correct temperatures throughout the journey • Safely unloading cages using a tail lift and delivering them into stores • Taking photos to document successful deliveries • Addressing any customer concerns and reporting them promptly to your line managerEssential Skills:Essential Skills as a Class 2 Driver: • At least six months of experience as a Class 2 driver • Valid UK Category C Driving Licence • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph • No more than six points for minor offences (no DR10, DG10, IN10, or TT99) • No major endorsements • Strong customer service skillsDesirable Experience: • Familiarity with cage and temperature-controlled deliveries is a plusTraining Provided: • First-day assessment followed by two weeks of training alongside a permanent staff member • Industry-related training and ongoing support throughoutContact: If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity, apply today by clicking the link below or get in touch with our recruitment team to find out more.People Solutions do not charge any of their candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment process.
