Join Our Supportive School Community in Cowbridge A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Cowbridge is looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and motivated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our team.This role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children by supporting their learning, confidence, and emotional development. Whether you’re an experienced LSA or new to education, we provide training and support to help you succeed and grow. Key Responsibilities Support pupils in class, small groups, or one-to-one to help them reach their learning goals. Assist the class teacher in preparing and setting up engaging learning resources. Encourage positive behaviour, inclusion, and participation during lessons and activities. Support pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) to ensure they can access the curriculum. Help with classroom organisation and maintain a positive learning environment. Supervise pupils during playtime, lunchtime, and school events as required. The Ideal Candidate Will: Enjoy working with children and helping them thrive both academically and socially. Be patient, caring, and a strong team player. ✨ Show enthusiasm, flexibility, and a willingness to learn. Have good communication skills and a proactive attitude. ️ Hold (or be willing to apply for) an Enhanced DBS check. Have experience or an interest in supporting pupils with ALN (training can be provided).
