Maths Teacher Location: Sheffield (S5) Salary: £155 – £220 per day (Depending on Experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-timeAre you a passionate and committed Maths Teacher eager to inspire students to develop a love for mathematics? GSL Education are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a supportive and dynamic school in Sheffield.As a Maths Teacher, you will plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages, ensuring all students achieve their potential. You will foster curiosity, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills through creative and effective teaching methods.Responsibilities: Teach Mathematics across relevant Key Stages following the national curriculum.Develop and deliver creative and differentiated lesson plans to cater to varied learning needs.Assess, record, and report on student progress regularly.Promote a positive learning environment that encourages achievement and growth.Support students in developing analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.Work collaboratively with colleagues to improve curriculum design and delivery.Maintain high expectations of behaviour and academic standards.Participate in departmental meetings, school events, and continuous professional development. Maths Teacher Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (PGCE, NQT, or relevant degree).Specialism in Mathematics or a related subject.Experience teaching Maths in UK schools is desirable.Strong classroom management and communication skills.Ability to inspire confidence and motivation in learners.Sound understanding of safeguarding and child protection.An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
