This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of pupils while supporting teachers in delivering high-quality education.Role Overview:A SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) supports pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in accessing learning and achieving their full potential.As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: Support pupils with Special Educational Needs in accessing learning and achieving their potential.Provide one-to-one or small group support for pupils requiring additional attention.Assist teachers in planning and delivering inclusive and engaging lessons.Encourage positive behaviour, confidence, and independence in pupils.Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to implement individual learning plans.Monitor and provide feedback on pupil progress to help adapt support as needed.Promote an inclusive, respectful, and supportive classroom culture. Requirements for SEN Teaching Assistant: Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN or additional learning needs is desirable.Patience, empathy, and a flexible approach to supporting diverse learning needs.Strong communication and teamwork skills.A genuine passion for helping pupils succeed academically and personally.An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
