Do you have experience supporting students with autism, SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs, or challenging behaviour?We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded SEN school in Maidstone that caters to students aged 4–16 with a range of complex needs. The school provides a nurturing and structured environment where pupils are supported to thrive both academically and emotionally.The Role: As a Learning Support Assistant, you will: Work closely with teachers and therapists to support students on a 1:1 and small group basis.Help manage behaviour using positive reinforcement and de-escalation strategies.Support pupils with their emotional regulation and social development.Assist with personalised learning plans and EHCP targets.Create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment. Ideal Candidate: Previous experience in an SEN setting or with children/young people with autism, SEMH or behavioural needs.Calm, resilient and empathetic approach.Team player with excellent communication skills.A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners.DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply).
