SEN Early Years Teaching Assistant (ASAP START)Northwick Park, Harrow£ per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)Start date: Feb 2025The School and RoleA specialist primary school, a short walk from Northwick Park station are looking for a Childrens Mental Health Assistant to support young people and children with a diverse range of needs including moderate to severe and complex learning needs, sensory processing difficulties and associated speech, language and communication difficulties, including autistic spectrum disorders. The TA would be in a class of 8 students with a mix of abilities and needs.Not working 1:1 but happy to lead small groups when the teacher sets the work. Experience with ASD / ADHD would be ideal but someone open minded and reliable.As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will be based inside the classroom supporting students within education. Class sizes are small to ensure the needs of each pupil are met.
