Radis Community Care have an opportunity for a Care Assistant/ Support Worker to join our new team based in Fern Meadows in Faringdon SN7Fern Meadows is set in the town of Faringdon, surrounded by beautiful greenery, Fern Meadows is an Extra Care development comprising 60 one- and two-bedroom apartments. Clients get to enjoy the privacy of their own stylish home, they will also have the choice to enjoy the facilities at the scheme.This includes our communal lounge, hair salon, restaurant, activity room, buggy store, guest room, and landscaped gardens. Our carers strive to help residents to retain as much independence as possible, for as long as possible and are on-site 24/7. Care is tailored to the needs of each person, provided within the comfort and privacy of their own flat and can range from a little help daily to support throughout the day and night timeThe role will require you to assist residents with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene and dressing. You will have the opportunity to take part in physical and mental stimulation by taking part in recreational and social activities with residents, both individually and as a group.The role is to promote resident’s independence, choice, dignity and respect by delivering the best standards of care.Shift times available, 7am-2pm-2pm-10pm, 10pm-7am and alternate weekendsAt this present time, we are unable to consider Sponsorship for this role.
