Class 1 Driver (with Lifting) – Oadby – £18.00 per hour – 7am Starts – Overtime Available Location: Oadby, Leicestershire Pay Rate: £18.00 per hour Hours: 7:00am starts, approximately 10-hour days Days: Minimum 3 days per week (overtime available) About the Role: Based in Oadby, my client is a well-established moving and logistics company seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver to join their team. This is a hands-on driving role involving heavy lifting and manual handling, so you’ll need to be physically fit and comfortable working as part of a busy, professional team. You’ll be responsible for transporting goods across various UK sites, assisting with the safe loading and unloading of vehicles, and ensuring high standards of service and care at all times. Key Responsibilities:Drive Class 1 (C+E) vehicles to delivery and collection points across the UKAssist with manual handling, loading, and unloading of goodsEnsure all items are securely transported and handled carefullyComplete all delivery paperwork accuratelyMaintain compliance with driving hours and WTD regulationsProvide excellent customer service and represent the company professionallyRequirements:Valid Class 1 (C+E) licenceCPC and Digital Tachograph CardPrevious Class 1 driving experiencePhysically fit and confident with heavy liftingReliable, professional, and customer-focusedWhat’s on Offer:£18.00 per hour7:00am starts – around 10-hour shiftsMinimum 3 days per weekRegular overtime availableFriendly and supportive working environment
