Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant in Croydon Location: England, Greater London, CroydonJob Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hoursPrimary Industry: Education and TrainingSalary: £90 - £100 Per dayBenefits: PAYEJob Duties: Provide support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in a classroom settingAssist the class teacher in implementing individual education plans (IEPs) for studentsHelp students with their learning and development, including personal care if requiredSupport students during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all timesWork collaboratively with the teaching staff and other professionals to create a positive learning environment Required Qualifications: Minimum of GCSEs in English and MathsSEN Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experienceValid DBS check Education: GCSEs in English and MathsExperience: Prior experience working with children with special educational needsKnowledge and Skills: Understanding of SEN strategies and techniquesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentPatience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting students with SEN Preferred Qualifications: Higher level teaching assistant (HLTA) qualificationFirst aid certification Working Conditions: Typical school hours, Monday to FridayWork within a classroom settingPotential requirement to assist with outdoor activities or school trips All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
