Design Engineer – Flood Risk, Drainage & Highways | Fully Remote (UK-based) | Full Time | £28,000-£34,000 per annum DOEOur client is a multidisciplinary engineering and environmental consultancy providing pre- and post-planning services. Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) with ideally 2-3 years of experienceSeeking a long-term opportunity to grow within a stable, supportive teamConfident communicator, able to handle client emails, phone calls, and updates professionallyExposure to civil engineering, highways, flood risk, or drainage design – with flood risk experience particularly desirableDetail-oriented, reliable, and motivated to develop technical skills through hands-on learning and mentoring What will your role look like? Work on a range of commercial and residential projectsPrepare designs, drawings, and calculations for flood risk assessments, drainage strategies, and highway worksDevelop detailed designs for surface water management, SuDS, and foul and storm drainage networksSupport the delivery of designs in line with Section 104/106 and Section 38/278 agreementsUse InfoDrainage (training provided) as your primary software tool; experience with AutoCAD or Civil 3D is also beneficialCommunicate directly with clients and project partners, keeping them informed and supported throughout each stageWork as part of a team of engineers and consultants What can you expect in return?
