Science Teacher – Canterbury Area – January 2026 StartWe are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school located just outside of Canterbury. This is a full-time temporary position starting in January 2026, running until February half term, with the potential to extend until Easter.About the Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and inclusive lessons across all three science disciplines – Biology, Chemistry, and Physics – to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. This role includes full teaching responsibilities such as: Planning and delivering lessons in line with the national curriculumMarking and assessing student workAttending parents’ evenings and departmental meetingsSupporting students’ academic progress and wellbeing Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalentExperience teaching all three science specialisms at KS3 and KS4Strong classroom management skillsAbility to inspire and motivate studentsEnhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one) Why Apply Through Us?
