A well-established multidisciplinary design and engineering consultancy is seeking a talented Senior Architect or experienced Project Architect to join its growing Birmingham studio. With a strong reputation for delivering integrated services across architecture, surveying, and project management, this practice works on a wide range of projects in the residential, healthcare, education, and commercial sectors. This is an exciting opportunity to take a leading role in the design and delivery of high-profile UK projects, while contributing to a collaborative and forward-thinking team. Key Responsibilities Lead architectural design and project coordination across all RIBA work stages Manage and mentor design teams, ensuring technical excellence and project delivery Oversee contract administration and liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors Support business development and contribute to commercial project success Promote best practices in BIM and demonstrate strong proficiency in Revit Ensure compliance with UK planning policy, building regulations, and construction standards Engage in post-construction activities including Soft Landings and client feedback Candidate Requirements ARB / RIBA registered Architect Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience Proven experience running projects from concept to completion Strong technical knowledge of UK construction methods and regulatory frameworks Experience managing architectural and construction contracts (traditional, D&B, partnering) Proficiency in Revit and BIM workflows is essential Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills A portfolio demonstrating high-quality design and technical delivery Benefits Package Competitive salary of £43,500-£50,000 Quarterly and annual bonus scheme Flexible working and work-from-home options Early finish Fridays Company pension plan Medical insurance and death in service cover Cycle to Work Scheme and Childcare Voucher Scheme Season ticket loan and long service awards Option to sell or carry over unused holiday Support for professional development and education funding This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious architect to join a respected consultancy with a strong pipeline of work and a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.
