Driver Hire Colchester is currently recruiting for a reliable and experienced Class 2 (Cat C) Driver to join our professional driving team.
Requirements:
Must have your own transport to travel to and from work.
Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence, CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card.
Fewer than 6 penalty points (no DD, DR, or similar endorsements).
Must have appropriate PPE, including steel toe cap boots (Hi-Vis provided by Driver Hire).
Ability to work with both paper-based and PDA-based delivery systems.
Job Details:
Start times: Typically between 04:00 and 07:00 AM.
Shift length: Between 8 and 12 hours (minimum 10 hours guaranteed).
Pay rate: £15.00 per hour.
Key Attributes:
Reliable, professional, and punctual.
Good knowledge of driver hours and road safety regulations.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Flexible and able to adapt to different routes and delivery requirements.
