SEN Teaching Assistant – Lincoln Location: Lincoln Salary: £89 – £105 per day Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term Start Date: Immediate or After Half-Term Agency: GSL Education LincolnshireAre you a compassionate and resilient individual with experience supporting young people with complex needs? GSL Education are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Lincoln, supporting children with a range of learning difficulties and additional needs.This is a full-time role, ideal for someone with previous experience working within an SEN school, alternative provision, or care setting, who is passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of young learners.The Role: Supporting pupils with complex learning needs, including Autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties. Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons. Providing 1:1 and small-group support to help pupils achieve personal and academic goals. Promoting emotional regulation, independence, and positive behaviour strategies. Supporting with personal care when required. The Ideal Candidate: Experience working within an SEN or care environment is essential. A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to supporting children with additional needs. Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude. Able to commit to a full-time, long-term position. A valid Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
