Cover Supervisor / HLTA Start Date: December Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm Pay: Dependent on skills and experience Contract: Long-term placementWe are seeking a confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor / HLTA to join an Alternative Provision setting from December.In this role, you will deliver pre-set lessons to a small class of students who are currently learning outside of the classroom environment. You will be responsible for maintaining a positive and focused learning atmosphere, supporting students with a variety of subjects, and ensuring continuity of learning in the teacher’s absence.Key Responsibilities: Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects Manage classroom behaviour and promote engagement Support students with their individual learning needs Provide feedback to teaching staff on progress and behaviour Requirements: Experience working with young people, ideally in an alternative provision or SEN setting Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to adapt to different subjects and learning styles HLTA status or relevant experience as a Cover Supervisor (desirable) This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people while developing your classroom and leadership experience.If you’re ready for a rewarding and varied role, click Apply Now and we will be in touch to discuss the next steps.All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
