Relief Chefs Wanted Position: Relief Chefs (Various Levels) Location: Stoke on Trent and North Staffordshire including Stafford, Congleton, Leek, Crewe, Newcastle under Lyme. Rate: £17-£20 per hour ‍ About the Role: Are you a dab hand in the kitchen, cool under pressure, and tired of the same four walls every day? We're on the hunt for passionate, reliable Relief Chefs to jump into several kitchens across Telford, Stafford & Staffordshire. We work with buzzing hotel banqueting suites to private events and everything in between, that need reliable chefs to step in and keep things running smoothly. No two days are the same, and that's exactly how we like it. If you're someone who can walk into a kitchen, crack on with the job, and bring a good attitude with you - we'd love to hear from you. What We're Looking For: Strong culinary background - from Chef de partie to Head Chef Proven experience in hotel kitchens, banqueting, or large-scale catering Ability to step into different kitchens and hit the ground running High standards of hygiene, presentation, and professionalism Punctual, dependable, and calm under pressure Someone who can be flexible be able to work day and night shifts dependant on when the clients need cover Ability to cover ad hoc same day booking requests for our clients - which could lead to more ongoing work. Great communication and teamwork skills Ability to work under pressure ✅ Requirements Valid Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or above) Allergy Awareness training (preferred) Own uniform and chef knives Reliable transport (preferred but not essential) Right to work in the UK An in date Enhanced DBS DATED WITHIN THE LAST 12 MONTHS ideally on the new updated service programme, this will allow you to work within Schools and Care homes. (we do have the Facilities to put you through one at a cost if needed, this would benefit you in offering more work.) The Commute: As we cover many locations across Staffordshire, your commute will vary. If you have a car and are flexible with locations, great, if you're limited to public transport, we'll only send you to places that have public transport links and provide you with all the information you will need to get there.
