Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Food Manufacturing Daventry | £47,363 + Bonus | Mon-Fri, 5:30am-2:15pm (Early Shift) Are you a hands-on engineer who loves solving problems and keeping production running smoothly? Do you want a Monday-Friday role with an early finish every day and no weekend shifts? We're looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a leading UK food manufacturer at their Daventry site. You'll be part of a small, supportive team maintaining a wide range of production and packaging machinery in a clean, fast-paced food environment. What you'll be doing: Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a mix of machinery - cutting, depositing, pumps, packaging lines, and utilities. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults quickly to keep production moving. Record maintenance tasks on the E-Maint PPM system and support continuous improvement initiatives (5S, RCA, etc.). Support production teams with equipment checks and safe operation. Liaise with contractors and help manage site utilities and safety systems. What we're looking for: Time-served apprenticeship or equivalent engineering qualifications. 17th/18th Edition certified. Previous experience in food or FMCG manufacturing. Confident with both mechanical and electrical fault-finding. Proactive, team-focused, and able to work independently.
