A vibrant secondary school in Hackney is seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant to support students in and out of class from January 2026. This is a brilliant opportunity for graduates looking to gain valuable school experience before progressing into teaching, psychology, or youth work. Your Role: Provide one-to-one and small-group academic support in English, Maths, and Science. Assist teachers with lessons, behaviour, and learning resources. Run targeted intervention sessions to boost attainment and confidence. Offer pastoral support to help students stay engaged and motivated. Gain valuable classroom experience in a well-resourced school. Requirements: A recent graduate (any discipline). Enthusiastic, confident, and passionate about supporting young people. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Some experience with young people (e.g. tutoring, mentoring, coaching) is advantageous.
