Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) Location: Felpham Pay Rate: £90 – £95 per day (depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-timeAre you a compassionate and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant looking to support pupils with additional needs in a warm and inclusive school setting?GSL Education are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school within Felpham. This role offers the chance to make a genuine impact on pupils’ learning, wellbeing, and confidence by providing tailored classroom and small-group support.As an SEN TA, you will: Support pupils with a range of special educational needs, helping them access the curriculum.Assist the class teacher in delivering differentiated activities and targeted interventions.Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupils’ independence and engagement.Provide emotional, social, and academic support both in and out of the classroom.Work collaboratively with teachers, the SENCo, and external professionals.Help maintain a nurturing, structured, and safe learning environment. Requirements for the role of SEN Teaching Assistant: Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN or additional learning needs is highly desirable.Patience, empathy, and a flexible approach to individualised support.Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.Ability to follow personalised support plans and behaviour strategies.An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
