About the RoleA respected secondary school in Monmouthshire is seeking a dedicated Religious Education Teacher to join their Humanities department from November 2025. This is a rewarding opportunity to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential to teach Key Stage 5 if desired.You’ll be delivering engaging and reflective RE lessons that encourage students to explore diverse beliefs, ethical questions, and philosophical ideas. What We’re Looking for?We welcome applications from individuals who:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or completing their induction and seeking a part-time opportunity to re-engage with classroom teachingHave proven experience teaching Humanities subjects at KS3/KS4 (KS5 desirable)Can create an inclusive and positive learning environmentPossess excellent classroom management and communication skillsMonitor student progress and provide effective feedback
RequirementsTeaching Personnel can provide guidance to help you obtain:
Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)Level 2 Safeguarding trainingEnhanced DBS on the Update ServiceAt least two professional references covering 24 months employment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
