Role Overview: We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to carry out electrical maintenance, small project works, and provide support to the wider maintenance team. The ideal candidate will hold a current JIB Gold Card, have sound knowledge of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, and be competent in inspection and testing procedures. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine electrical maintenance and repair works across the site. Undertake small installation and project works, ensuring compliance with current electrical regulations. Inspect, test, and certify electrical systems and equipment in line with statutory requirements. Diagnose and rectify faults efficiently to minimise downtime. Work collaboratively with the wider maintenance and facilities team on multi-disciplinary tasks. Ensure all work is carried out safely, professionally, and in accordance with company and regulatory standards. Maintain accurate records of works completed, materials used, and any issues identified. Key Skills & Qualifications: Current JIB Gold Card (Essential) 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) (Essential) City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection and Testing) or equivalent (Essential) Proven experience in electrical maintenance and small project work. Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities. A proactive approach to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
