Accountant Location: Coupar Angus, ScotlandSalary: Competitive + BenefitsHours: Monday - Friday About the Role We are recruiting for an Accountant to join our team at our Coupar Angus site - a key part of our poultry business. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated finance professional looking to develop their career within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll support the site's finance function with accurate reporting, analysis, and insight, while gaining hands-on experience across all aspects of management accounting. Working closely with finance and operational teams, you'll play an important role in supporting decision-making, driving performance, and ensuring financial accuracy. This role is ideal for someone with solid accounting fundamentals who is ready to grow into a future Management Accountant or Financial Accountant role. Key Responsibilities * Assist in the preparation of weekly and monthly management accounts* Support with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis* Maintain accurate costings and monitor production performance* Prepare and post journals, accruals, and prepayments* Provide financial insight and analysis to support operational decision-making* Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures* Support continuous improvement within the finance function About You You'll be a proactive and analytical finance professional who enjoys working in a hands-on, fast-moving environment. You'll have strong attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and the confidence to challenge and support colleagues across the business.
