Teaching Assistant – ASC Support (Morecambe) – Immediate Start Location: Morecambe Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term Salary: £13.75 - £14.50 per hour (depending on experience)Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Morecambe to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a child with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about making a real difference in a child’s educational journey.The Role: Provide 1:1 support for a child with ASC, helping them access learning and manage transitions throughout the school day.Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored strategies and interventions.Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes emotional regulation and social development.Monitor progress and contribute to regular reviews and planning meetings. The Ideal Candidate Will: Have experience supporting children with ASC or other additional needs (school-based or personal experience considered).Be patient, empathetic, and resilient with a genuine passion for supporting children.Hold a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).Be available to start immediately and commit to the role long-term.
