Looking for a short-term role where you can step in, steady the ship and make a real difference? We’re recruiting an Interim Accountant to support a busy finance team through a period of change. This 3-month assignment offers plenty of variety and responsibility - ideal for someone who enjoys getting hands-on, spotting issues, and finding practical solutions.Reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll help bring the ledgers into shape, fix discrepancies, and support with reconciliations and year-end activity. The wider AP/AR processing is outsourced, so you’ll be the key point of contact for resolving queries and ensuring accuracy across the accounts.You will be responsible for:Reviewing ledgers and reconciling accounts with accuracy and attention to detailInvestigating discrepancies and correcting historic errorsChecking and approving payment runsManaging GRNI and supplier reconciliationsSupporting with VAT returns and year-end preparationLiaising with AP/AR teams to resolve issues quickly and efficientlyWhat you will need:Previous experience in a similar role, such as Assistant Accountant / Assistant Financial Accountant / Accountant / Reconciliations Accountant / Ledger ManagerProven experience in reconciliations and ledger maintenance, ideally within manufacturing or similar sectorStrong Excel knowledge, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot tablesA hands-on, problem-solving approach – able to work independently and get things doneWhat you will get:3-month temp, quick-start roleFlexible hoursIf you would like to find out more about this role, please apply with your CV or LinkedIn PDF.
