Job Role & Key Responsibilities: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) responsible for carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance on production, plant, and process equipment at a leading food manufacturing facility. Key Responsibilities: Conduct planned and reactive electrical maintenance on production and plant equipment.Diagnose, repair, and maintain single- and three-phase systems.Perform electrical testing, inspections, and PLC/process control troubleshooting.Maintain, calibrate, and verify sensors, instrumentation, and control panels.Carry out mechanical maintenance on conveyors, drives, mixers, milling, and packing machinery.Replace bearings, chains, belts, and mechanical components.Perform fault finding, root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.Collaborate with colleagues to ensure safe, efficient maintenance. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Time-served engineer with electrical bias (HNC/ONC or equivalent).18th Edition IEE Regulations qualification (essential).PLC/process control experience.Health & Safety certification (IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent).Experience in food or FMCG manufacturing.CMMS experience for planned maintenance.Full UK Driving Licence. Desirable Skills: Strong IT literacy (Microsoft Office).Experience with automated packaging, milling, and blending equipment.Knowledge of process control instrumentation and compressors, motors, and drives.
