SEN Support Assistant Salary: £90 - £110 per day (PAYE – no umbrella companies) Contract: Full-time, Long-Term Start Date: Immediate or January 2026 Be the calm in someone’s storm We’re looking for a kind, patient, and proactive SEN Support Assistant to join a brilliant special school supporting pupils with a range of complex needs — including autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language delays, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.No two days will be the same, but everyone will make a difference. You’ll be part of a team that creates a safe, structured, and genuinely joyful space for children to learn, grow, and thrive. What you’ll be doing: Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups across different classesHelping children access learning through tailored support and practical guidanceUsing positive behaviour strategies to promote independence and confidenceWorking closely with teachers, therapists, and SEN specialists to meet EHCP targetsBringing empathy, creativity, and consistency to every interaction What we’re looking for: Experience working with children or young people with SEN (in school, care, or community settings)A calm, nurturing approach and a big dose of patienceA team player who’s flexible and ready to learnThrive-trained?
