Learning Support Assistant – Rochester Full Time – Temp to Perm – Immediate Start Daily Pay Rate – £100 – £110Are you passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), especially those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)? The school are seeking committed, reliable, and empathetic Learning Support Assistants to join their team on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis starting immediately.Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with ASD and other SEND.Assist in implementing tailored intervention programmes to support communication, emotional regulation, and academic development.Work collaboratively with teachers and therapists to deliver personalised learning plans.Promote positive behaviour and engagement through encouragement and structured routines.Support students in managing transitions and sensory needs throughout the school day.Ensure the safety and wellbeing of students at all times, following safeguarding procedures. Professional Skills and Attributes: Experience working with children or young people with ASD and other SEND.Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships.Patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for inclusive education.Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.A full UK driving licence is highly desirable due to the school’s location and student transport needs.
