Maths Teacher - SEMH Specialist Setting Location: High Peak Contract Type: Temp to perm Start Date: ASAP Driving licence needed for home visits Are you a passionate Maths Teacher looking to make a real difference in young people's lives?Tradewinds client school is supporting a specialist provision who supporting children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The pupils have been excluded from mainstream education and may also have additional cognitive or learning needs. We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Maths Teacher who can create engaging, accessible lessons and build positive relationships with students who need a fresh start. About the Role: Deliver creative, differentiated Maths lessons to small groups of students. Support learners with SEMH needs, helping them to rebuild confidence and achieve their potential. Work closely with a skilled support team and SEN professionals. Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment. About You: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS) preferred, but unqualified teachers with strong experience will be considered. Passionate about supporting students with additional needs. Able to build trust, manage behaviour positively, and deliver engaging lessons. Experience within an SEMH or alternative provision setting is desirable but not essential-the right attitude and willingness to learn are key. Why Join Us?
