Are you a compassionate and skilled teaching assistant with experience support children with additional needs? We are recruiting dedicated Teaching Assistants to support children with EHCPs in a 1:1 capacity in specialist primary schools across Manchester. These roles are to begin in January.Key Responsibilities: Work 1:1 with children with EHCPs, delivering tailored support to meet their specific needs.Assist the child with both learning activities and behavioral guidance in line with their EHCP.Foster a nurturing, inclusive environment that encourages social and academic growth.Collaborate closely with the classroom teacher, SENCo, and other staff to implement effective strategies.Monitor progress and provide feedback, adapting support as necessary. Requirements: Experience supporting children with SEN, SEMH, or other additional needs in a primary setting.Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.Understanding of EHCPs and experience in implementing tailored learning strategies.Relevant qualifications or training in special educational needs (Level 2 or above preferred).Teamwork-oriented with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.Full time availability If you are interested in this role, please send an up to date copy of your CV alongside your application.
