Learning Support Assistant – Secondary School Location: LiverpoolSchool Type: Secondary SchoolStart Date: September 2025 (or sooner)Contract Type: Full-time (Mon–Fri), term-time onlySalary: £90–£100 per day (depending on experience)Are you passionate about supporting young people and helping them thrive in their education?Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Liverpool, seeking a dedicated and empathetic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team.The Role: As a Learning Support Assistant, you will: Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students with additional learning needs (e.g., SEND, SEMH, or EAL). Work closely with teaching staff and the SENCO to implement personalised learning plans. Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Support students both academically and emotionally to ensure they reach their full potential. Requirements: Previous experience working with children or young people (ideally in a school setting). A patient, caring, and proactive attitude. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. A DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
