This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students through practical cooking, nutrition, and food science, equipping them with essential life skills and creative problem-solving abilities.Responsibilities for Food Technology Teacher: Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons across Key Stages.Teach practical cooking, nutrition, food science, and hygiene skills.Encourage creativity, independent learning, and critical thinking.Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support academic achievement.Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and promote practical learning. What You’ll Bring as a Food Technology Teacher: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.Experience teaching Food Technology within a school setting.Strong subject knowledge and practical expertise in food preparation and nutrition.Excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills.Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
