Teaching Assistant – Year 2 (Autism Support) Tooting, London £95–£105 per day 08:30 – 15:30, Monday to Friday (term time only)Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and making a real difference in their lives? We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a Year 4 student with autism at a welcoming primary school in Wandsworth.About the Role Provide 1:1 support to a pupil with autism, helping them to engage with learning and reach their full potential. Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored strategies and learning activities. Encourage positive behaviour, independence, and social interaction. Support with classroom activities, transitions, and emotional regulation throughout the school day. About You Previous experience working with children or young people with autism or additional needs is desirable. A proactive, caring, and patient individual who enjoys working with children. Strong communication and teamwork skills. A genuine passion for education and supporting young people’s development.
