The role will involve all aspects of the Lettings process including managing tenancies, building client relationships, and ensuring compliance across all lettings operations.This role is ideal for an experienced lettings professional looking to progress into management.As Assistant Lettings Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of a successful lettings department. Working closely with landlords, tenants, and the team, you’ll help ensure smooth transactions, deliver excellent service, and contribute to business growth within a thriving local property market.What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities): Manage the end-to-end lettings process from instruction to move-in.Support the manager in leading, motivating, and developing the lettings team.Conduct property viewings and market appraisals.Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords and tenants.Resolve maintenance and tenancy issues promptly and professionally.Drive new business opportunities and help the team achieve KPIs.Ensure compliance with lettings legislation and company standards.Oversee advertising, marketing materials, and database records. What We're Looking For (Skills & Experience): Proven experience in residential lettings or property management.Strong understanding of lettings legislation and compliance.Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.Highly organised, detail-focused, and able to multitask effectively.Confident working independently and within a team environment.Leadership potential with experience supporting or managing others.Full UK driving licence (essential).
