Finance Assistant sought by a global, £multibillion plastics manufacturer with close to 200 locations worldwide. The Role:Reporting to the Financial Controller, as a Finance Assistant your responsibilities will include:Subsidiary accounting, involving a range of tasks from salaries, journals, accruals and prepayments, pension, reconciliations, TB, fixed assets and producing monthly accountsSubsidiary budgetingFinancial accounts reconciliations and processesCover of Stock reconciliationsFinancial projectsFinancial accounting general enquiriesAudit assistance: year-end, interim and statutory audit, HMRC government audits and other audit requirementsAnnual stock check attendanceYear-end reporting and other adhoc reporting requirementsThe successful Finance Assistant will demonstrate:Self-driven, friendly & a positive disposition, with a clear focus on high quality and delivering resultsAccuracy, attention to detail, excellent organisation skillsActively participates in team work to ensure organisational goals are metThe ability to prioritise own workload & multitaskPrevious accounting experience, AAT/CIMA/ACCA part-qualified or equivalentComputer literate in all MS Office applicationsPrevious working knowledge of SAP and SAGE would be an advantageBenefits:£23,900 - £30,000 depending on experience32 days holidays including bank holidays, rising to 33 days after 2 years’ service 50% hybrid over 2 week period after probation5 hours per weekFlexible hours (core hours 10am-3pm)Time off in lieuPension schemeAccess to benefits platform Internal and external training & development courses available Option to buy and sell holiday   Cycle to Work scheme Onsite parking Free flu jabsHealth & wellbeingEnhanced paternity pay after 2 yearsLong service awardsEmployee assistance programmeInternal training academyAccess to external training and supported educationSocial culture and eventsFinance Assistant Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire £23,900 - £30,000 depending on experience + excellent benefits
