Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Merton, South London Contract Type: Full-Time / Long-Term (with potential for permanent placement) Start Date: Immediate / As soon as possibleAbout the Role: Protocol Education is seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with special educational needs in a Merton-based school. You will help pupils reach their academic and social potential in a positive and inclusive learning environment.Key Responsibilities: Supporting pupils with additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH. Assisting teachers in delivering differentiated lessons and activities. Providing one-to-one or small group support. Promoting inclusion, positive behaviour, and social development. Assisting with classroom preparation and maintaining a supportive learning atmosphere. Requirements: Previous experience supporting children with SEN preferred. Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Valid Right to Work in the UK. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
