The school is recognised for its inclusive approach, providing tailored education and therapeutic support for pupils with autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs), and additional learning difficulties.The Role – Behaviour Support AssistantAs a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will: Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with challenging behavioursImplement behaviour support strategies in partnership with teachers and therapistsSupport students with emotional regulation, coping strategies, and managing triggersContribute to a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environmentAssist with classroom routines, transitions, and structured play activitiesWork collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to track progress and celebrate achievements Ideal Candidate – Behaviour Support Assistant Graduate (Psychology, Education, or a related subject advantageous) OR experienced in behaviour/youth supportStrong behaviour management and de-escalation skillsEmpathetic, patient, and able to remain calm under pressurePrevious experience supporting pupils with SEN, SEMH, or in a youth work setting is desirable but not essentialMust have the right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available) Why Apply?This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a lasting difference in the lives of young people with additional needs.
