M365 / SharePoint Administrator (Copilot Readiness - Security & Permissions)Rate: £400-£450 per day (Inside IR35)Location: Remote, ideally 1 day per week in LondonDuration: 3 months Role OverviewSeeking a hands-on M365 / SharePoint Administrator to support Copilot readiness by reviewing and securing SharePoint permissions and access. You'll standardise site configurations, ensure compliance, and work directly with stakeholders to reconfigure sites. Includes show & tells to demonstrate SharePoint and Copilot capabilities. Key Responsibilities Configure and manage SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Viva Insights in the M365 Admin Centre.Review, fix, and standardise permissions, security, and sensitive file access.Prepare SharePoint sites for Copilot enablement.Work with DTS and stakeholders to reconfigure and validate site structures.Support show & tells to highlight Copilot and SharePoint features.Collaborate with training, change, and comms teams when needed. Required Experience Proven, hands-on M365 / SharePoint Admin experience (not advisory).Experience in large, multi-division environments.Strong understanding of: SharePoint governance & site architecturePermissions models & Microsoft 365 GroupsM365 security & compliance principles Awareness of Copilot technical requirements (deployment not essential).Awareness of M365 SCIM (no implementation required).Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts clearly. Scope & Boundaries Focused on permissions and security only.Group creation handled by other DTS teams.Not responsible for full SharePoint admin across the estate.
