Higher level Teaching Assistant – Year 6 classroom in Fareham Start Date: December 2025 Contract: Long-term with the potential to become permanent Salary: £13.90 – £15 per hour (Dependent on experience) Hours: Part-time 12-3:30 – 17.5 hours a week Location: FarehamAbout the Role We are looking for an experienced HLTA to work in an Ofsted rated “Good” school with a fantastic reputation for inclusion. This role would include covering PPA and illness throughout KS1 and 2.You must have an HLTA or CACHE level 3 qualification to apply for this role.What You’ll Be Doing Covering classes on a planned or ad hoc basisProviding EHCP support for those pupils with additional needsTeach booster sessions for those who need support to meet their academic targetsAssisting teaching staff with adapting learning resources to suit individual needs.Encouraging students to build independence, confidence, and resilience.Supporting the smooth running of the classroom and fostering a positive learning environment.
