Year 1 Teaching Assistant – Chichester Primary School Start Date: January 2026 Contract: Full-time / Term-time onlyAre you a caring, enthusiastic and motivated individual who enjoys supporting children’s learning and development? We are looking for a Year 1 Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team from January 2026.At our school we pride ourselves on creating a happy, inclusive and stimulating learning environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their best. As part of our Key Stage 1 team, you will play a vital role in helping our pupils to grow in confidence and develop a lifelong love of learning.The successful candidate will: Have experience of working with young children in an educational setting (EYFS or KS1 experience desirable). Be patient, kind and enthusiastic, with a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning. Be able to work effectively as part of a team, following direction from the class teacher and SENCo where appropriate. Have good communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, staff and parents.
