Kitchen Manager / Head Chef Birmingham £15 per hour | Monday to Friday | 7am-3pm Nursing Home | Learning Disability, Autism & Mental Health Support We are currently seeking a Kitchen Manager / Head Chef to lead the catering team at a specialist nursing home in Birmingham, supporting younger adults with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health conditions. This is a full-time, weekday role offering a stable schedule and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a care-focused environment. Role Details Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am-3pm Pay: £15 per hour Location: Birmingham Setting: Residential nursing home for younger adults with complex needs Key Responsibilities Plan and prepare nutritious, balanced meals tailored to residents' dietary needs Lead and motivate the kitchen team, ensuring smooth daily operations Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen cleanliness Manage stock levels, ordering, and budget control Collaborate with care staff to support individual dietary plans Ideal Candidate Proven experience as a Head Chef or Kitchen Manager, ideally in care or healthcare settings Strong leadership and communication skills Understanding of dietary requirements for individuals with autism, learning disabilities, and mental health conditions Level 2 or higher Food Hygiene Certificate Reliable, respectful, and team-oriented Ready to apply?
