With an idyllic rural location, they are less than 30 minutes’ drive from Norwich, offering the perfect balance of peaceful surroundings and easy access to the city.The RoleThey are looking for a hard-working and enthusiastic individual with high standards, and the ability to communicate and interact effectively with others, to join their school as an Exam Invigilator. Exam Invigilators are responsible for the efficient conduct of public examinations in accordance with the regulations of the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ)Key Responsibilities Be familiar with the regulations relating to the conduct of examinationsAssist with setting up exam venues, including laying out stationery and papersAssist with the completion of seating plansOrganise students on arrival, prior to the exam, and issuing the relevant exam instructionsEnsure exam venues remain quietRemain vigilant during exams without disturbing the studentsDeal with queries raised by students appropriately, seeking advice where necessaryReport any discrepancy, disturbance or irregularity in procedures to the Exams Officer promptlyCheck the attendance and record details of late arrivals and early leaversEscort candidates from venues during exams as required and supervise students outside venuesCollect scripts at the end of the exam in accordance with proceduresCheck and collate all scripts and ensure their safe delivery to the Exams OfficeSupervise the departure of students at the end of the examReading and/or scribing for students where required (for which training will be provided) Skills and Qualifications The ability to communicate clearly and tactfully using appropriate methods andan awareness of the impact of your own communication on othersAble to maintain positive relationships with all and able to work as an effective andflexible part of a team; willing to change methods of work and routines to benefitthe teamBe able to multi-task and work under pressureBe flexible and resilient in managing and executing their daily responsibilitiesAble to demonstrate strong planning and organisational skillsThe ability to prioritise effectively, meet deadlines and accept challengesA good level of literacy and numeracyPrevious experience is not essential as full training will be given To Apply If you feel you are a suitable candidate and would like to work for this reputable Education Trust, please proceed through the following link to be redirected to their website to complete your application.https://ce0200li.webitrent.com/ce0200li_webrecruitment/wrd/run/ETREC107GF.open?VACANCY_ID%3d3949806Fir&WVID=FG&LANG=USA
