EduTalent Group is proud to be hiring a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Person to join a dynamic team in a lovely SEN school.You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of facilities through proactive maintenance, repair of equipment, and upkeep of grounds. Your work will help promote a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment where staff and visitors can operate effectively.Key Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including troubleshooting and repairs.Maintain all equipment, tools, and plant in a safe and operational condition, liaising with external suppliers and service providers as needed.Maintain the grounds to a high standard, ensuring they are clean, safe, and well-kept.Conduct and document scheduled health and safety checks.Respond promptly to maintenance requests, delivering excellent service to all staff and visitors.Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and replacements.Support improvements and upgrades to facilities and equipment as directed.Be proactive in professional development, including mandatory training, to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.RequirementsEssential:Proven experience in a maintenance or facilities role.Ability to carry out DIY tasks and general repairs.Strong communication and customer service skills in English.Proactive, reliable, and committed to high standards of safety and efficiency.Desirable:Previous experience maintaining large grounds or multiple facilities.Experience liaising with contractors or suppliers.Relevant maintenance, H&S, or trade qualifications.BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experience.Full-time position with opportunities for overtime.Supportive and collaborative team environment.Tempt to perm, contract or permanent choice available.
