Job Title: General Warehouse Operative Location: Swindon Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour Hours: 15-20 hours per week (flexible, Monday to Friday) We're working with our client in Swindon to recruit a General Warehouse Operative to join their friendly and hardworking team. This position has become available following recent team changes and offers a great opportunity for someone looking for a flexible part-time role within a busy and hands-on warehouse environment. What you'll be doing: Carry out a variety of warehouse duties to keep operations running smoothly. Electrical Cable Assembly: Build electrical cables following technical specifications. Power Supply Assembly: Support the assembly of power supplies as required. Battery Unit Recycling: Safely dismantle battery units for recycling and ensure proper disposal. Cargo Packing: Prepare and securely pack items for shipment. Courier Shipments: Manage courier bookings and ensure timely dispatch. Crate Construction: Build crates and packaging for outbound goods. Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working area. Manual Handling: Lift and move items weighing between 12kg and 30kg. What we're looking for: Previous warehouse experience is essential. Confident with wiring, stripping, and basic electrical assembly. Able to operate a forklift (licence preferred). Physically fit and comfortable with manual, hands-on work. Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
